New call handlers take to Control

Date: 25 July 2017

Norwich Call Handlers Course

Two new recruits are ready and raring to help patients and take 999 calls after successfully completing their emergency call handler training in Norwich.

Our latest group of call handlers completed and passed their four weeks training in the classroom and now progress into the control room, where they will work alongside their mentors taking live 999 calls.

Luke Baldwin, Course Tutor, said:  “Everyone in the group was really focussed throughout their training and worked really hard. I am pleased to welcome them to our EOC team and wish them well.”

Best of luck everyone and welcome to team EEAST!

We're recruiting call handlers to our Chelmsford and Bedford Emergency Operations Centres too so if you're interested in joining us, please visit our NHS Jobs pages for details and to apply.
