EEAST Statement following the sad passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II

Following the sad news of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II, Tom Abell, Chief Executive has issued the following statement.

Tom Abell, Chief Executive of East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust, said:

“We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty the Queen. We are grateful for her outstanding commitment and service to our country over the decades. The Queen has been the very embodiment of selfless public duty and an incredible example for us all.

“The Royal Family have had a home at Sandringham within our region since 1862. We know that both the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh were very fond of it and enjoyed spending time there.

“We offer our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this extremely difficult time.”
