Ambulance Trust supports Essex Pride

Date: 18 June 2018

Trust staff and volunteers took part in Essex Pride at the weekend (16th June).

The annual event took place at Central Park in Chelmsford and is a celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life in Essex.

Colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust joined those from Essex Police and Essex Fire and Rescue Service at the event, which featured music acts, family entertainment, a market and dog show.

Benjamin Mudd, Emergency Medical Technician based at Southend and Chairman of the Trust’s LGBT Network, attended the event with the Trust’s wellbeing bus, and was supported by a number of other staff.

Further pride events are taking place in the upcoming weeks.
