Ambulance service joins police and fire for 999 open day in Harlow

Emergency services staff in Essex will be holding a 999 open day this weekend to give visitors a unique insight into their work.

Ambulance, fire and police will be at the free event, at Harlow Fire Station on Saturday (2nd September) between 10am and 4pm.

The open day provides an opportunity for people to find out more about the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST), meet ambulance staff and volunteers, and explore inside an ambulance and other emergency services vehicles.

There will also be a road traffic collision mock up, fire safety games, CPR sessions and a cake sale.
