Ambulance service holds Equality delivery event

Date: 12 April 2018

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) is holding a grading event of their Equality Delivery System (EDS2) on Tuesday (17th April) in Bedford.

The Equality delivery system helps NHS organisations, improve the services they provide for their communities and ensure their services are free from inequality and discrimination.  It also helps meet requirements under the Equality Act 2010 and public-sector equality duty.

If you or someone you look after has used EEAST, they want to hear your thoughts and opinions on the service you were provided.

Attendees will be able to participate in discussions to review ambulance service performance and to tell the Trust how they think they are performing and to identify areas and ways that can improve. They will also have the opportunity to hear about what EEAST have been doing and what is being developed.

Lunch and drinks will be provided.  Please advise if you have any dietary or accessibility requirements when booking your place.

Date: Tuesday, 17th April 2018
Venue: King’s House, 245 Ampthill Road, Bedford, MK42 9AZ
Time: 9.30am to 5pm
Book your place: If you are interested in attending, please email  or text 07765 404833 (for this event only).

If you are unable to attend but still want to get involved, you can complete our short survey available here - to feedback about your experiences.

The results of the completed surveys will be incorporated into the results from our public grading event.  The survey closes on 2nd May 2018.
