Visitors to a recruitment careers event last week had the opportunity to meet the people in greens who care for emergency patients in the west Herts area.

The Watford Jobs Fair, hosted by MP Richard Farrington, attracted around 3,000 people and staff from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) were on hand to talk about the latest roles at the service, including associate and intermediate ambulance practitioners.

Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire Locality Director for EEAST Dave Fountain attended the fair, and said: “It was a fantastic event with lots of keen people showing lots of interest in the ambulance service.

“My thanks to Richard and his team for hosting such a successful event and also to my colleagues who helped out on the day; hopefully we will see some of the attendees working for EEAST in the near future.”
