  • If your paramedics go to university, which universities do you provide for your paramedics?
  • Have you provided any mandatory stoma care content in the last 5 years? If the answer is yes please could you provide details of what was covered.
  • Does the abdominal examination in your student paramedic course cover this subject and how they may differ from another patient?

    EEAST currently run a Student Paramedic DipHE programme in conjunction with two universities.    Other than that we have five universities as ‘feeder HEIs’ for graduate Paramedics

    • If your paramedics go to university, which universities do you provide for your paramedics?

    Student Paramedic/DipHE programme with UEA and ARU.  Our main feeder BSc universities include UEA, ARU, Uos, UoB, UoH

    • Have you provided any mandatory stoma care content in the last 5 years? If the answer is yes please could you provide details of what was covered.

    No – though we do not run the Paramedic undergraduate programmes

    • Does the abdominal examination in your student paramedic course cover this subject and how they may differ from another patient?

    Abdominal assessment taught to the standard of Macleods Clinical Examination

    • Do you provide any hospital placements or community placements for the students where they’re may be patients with a stoma bag?

    All placements may bring a student into contact with a patient who has a Stoma.
