All questions to be answered for the Informatics Team and the Workforce Planning Team

1. What is the size of your informatics team and the Workforce Planning Team (FTE)? 

2. What percentage of time is spent on workforce/employee reporting (as compared with clinical reporting etc.)
2a. of the workforce/employee reporting, what is the estimated time split between standard and non-standard (custom) reporting. (examples of standard reports could include the weekly and monthly agency returns to NHS improvement and HR reporting inputs to the monthly board reports) 

3. Does the trust use an analytics platform or a business intelligence (BI) reporting tool to support your reporting requirements? If so, can you please answer the below:
  a. Name of the platform/reporting tool used (i.e, Qlik, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft)

    Informatics – 18
    Workforce Planning Team – 3.59 WTE

    2. What percentage of time is spent on workforce/employee reporting (as compared with clinical reporting etc.)
    2a. of the workforce/employee reporting, what is the estimated time split between standard and non-standard (custom) reporting. (examples of standard reports could include the weekly and monthly agency returns to NHS improvement and HR reporting inputs to the monthly board reports) 
    The Trust does not break down percentage of time spent on the different reports being asked for:
    Informatics Team – separate teams work on each area and we are unable to answer the question above.
    Workforce Planning Team – the Team get varied requests for ad hoc information and also standard reporting demands which are challenging. A small part of the work undertaken is for national standard returns.

    Only the Informatics team use this = PowerBI

    Part of Office 365 subscription so cannot separate
