Please could you provide figures on the number of physical and sexual assaults on ambulance staff for the past 36 months?

Please include:
 
1/ whether the assault recorded was physical (e.g. a punch or kick) or sexual in nature.

2/ the gender of the victim (where possible)

3/ the nature of the incident attended (where possible).

4/ Whether or not the assault was reported to the police. If it was reported, then please include the outcome if known.

 5/ If possible, please break down the figures into 12 month periods.

    The Trust would be require to cross check the Datix record, where the assault is recorded to identify the incident call details, and to search the Trusts call system to determine the nature of the incident the crews attended. The Trust has calculated that this would take over the 18 hours as determined by the FOIA and withholding this section of your request under s.12 of the FOIA.

    4/ Whether or not the assault was reported to the police. If it was reported, then please include the outcome if known.
