20585-Suffolk Falls

I would grateful if you could please supply data over a year or longer, if not onerous, of the number of calls you receive to assist service users who have fallen and only require lifting for the following parishes.
Kedington,  Hundon, Straddlishall, Poslingford, Clare  Stoke by Clare, Cavendish.
If you are able to track down such incidents a rough indication of cost and percentage attended within attendance time would be very helpful.

The aim is to see if we can avoid falls calls by volunteers to deal with such incidents perhaps funding first responders or similar to  respond. Be interested to know if there are other such schemes in rural areas.
The Trust is currently developing a new volunteer strategy that encompasses the sustained needs of the community including patients that have fallen in rural and urban areas. As such a project team is currently working on developing a CFR falls trial which will see an increased scope of practice for a set of volunteers. to enable attendance to low acuity patients who have fallen. This aims to improve patient experience by reducing waiting times for patients.
