18496 - Ambulances to Queens Hospital

There seemed to be a number of non BHR catchment area ambulances from EoE going into the Queens Hospital site over the past few days. For example one from Waltham Abbey yesterday.

Would you be able to produce me a report on ambulances that weren’t in the Queen’s catchment area that have gone there say over the past two weeks with reasons why?

Please find attached the spread sheet FOI – 18496.

This shows the number of incidents where patients were taken to Queens Hospital from 22nd November until 6th December; including the description of the type of call and the postcode of where the patient was picked up from.
Due to the border being very close to Romford, East of England Ambulance Service do convey to Queens Hospital as this may be the closest hospital for that area. EEAST transfer patients from different hospitals to Queens for specialised treatment.
