Does your Trust advocate the use of insulin administration by paramedics, for the management of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)? I understand national clinical guidance does not, but also realise that Trusts hold individual policies, procedures and patient group directives on medication administration.

    East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust does not administer insulin for the management of DKA.
