Celebration of Special Contribution

If you’ve landed on this page, you’re hopefully considering nominating a special person for an award at this year’s Trust Awards ceremony in October.

All the information you should need to make a nomination should be available below, and we’ve made the process as easy as possible. But if you have any questions, please email awards@eastamb.nhs.uk and we’ll do our best to answer them.

Special contribution awards

Staff and volunteers can make nominations for 12 of these awards, which are:

  • Trust value award for Care
    The Trust values warmth, empathy and compassion in all its relationships. Nominees for this award should be representative of this Trust value.

  • Trust value award for Teamwork
    Together as one, the Trust works with pride and commitment to achieve its vision. Nominees for this award should be representative of this Trust value.

  • Trust value award for Quality
    The Trust strives to consistently achieve high standards through continuous improvement. Nominees for this award should be representative of this Trust value.

  • Trust value award for Respect
    The Trust values individuals, including our patients, our staff and our partners in every interaction. Nominees for this award should be representative of this Trust value.

  • Trust value award for Honesty
    The Trust values a culture that has trust, integrity and transparency at the centre of everything we do. Nominees for this award should be representative of this Trust value.

  • Excellence in Clinical Practice
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff who has displayed excellent clinical skills beyond expectation.

  • Excellence in Professional Development
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff who has shown dedication to their own personal development.

  • Excellence in Innovation
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff who has displayed innovative ideas to aid the Trust in its service delivery.

  • Excellence in Leadership
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff who has displayed great leadership, with particular focus on the Trust values of care, teamwork, quality, respect and honesty.

  • Excellence in Equality, Diversity and Inclusiveness
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff, team or project that has embedded equality, diversity and inclusiveness in what it has done to help the Trust become a more inclusive culture.

  • Excellence in Community Partnership 
    Nominations for this award can be for any member of staff, team or initiative that has had a positive impact on the community work we do through any partnership, including other NHS organisations, charities, community groups or 999 colleagues.

  • The Keith Marshall Award for Distinguished Service 
    Nominees for this award are welcome for any CFR that has shown exceptional dedication and service to the Trust.

  • Certificate of Merit for Voluntary Services
    Nominees for this award are welcome for any volunteer that you feel deserves recognition for outstanding practice.

In order that the project to deliver the awards can run as smoothly as possible, we are keeping to strict deadlines. All nominations must be received by midday on Friday, 3rd August.
