Governance and policies


We are governed by our Board which is made up of our Chair, Chief Executive, five executive directors and six non-executive directors (including the Chair). One additional non—voting executive director and the Trust Secretary attend all Board and associated meetings.  

We are regulated by NHS Improvement and the Care Quality Commission.


We have numerous approved policies and procedures which are categorised into three subjects, clinical, corporate and human resources, as well as the processes for providing feedback or raising concerns to us. Our policies and procedures help define what our organisation does and how we do it.
