Taking part in COVID-19 Research
Whether you have, have previously had or have never had COVID-19 symptoms, you can take part in COVID-19 research.
Across the UK, research is happening to find out as much as possible about COVID-19 and the best treatments for this disease. Please visit NIHR Be Part of Research for further information and learn how you can become involved in this important work.
Sign up to be contacted for coronavirus vaccine studies
The sign up to be contacted for coronavirus vaccine studies has now been officially launched and is available for everyone - patients, public and NHS staff - to join.
It has been developed in partnership between the NIHR and NHS Digital, and has now been formally rolled out to everyone in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales through the NHS website (NHS.UK).
What does signing up mean?
This service provides permission for researchers to contact those who sign up about taking part in health research for a coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, and potentially future studies beyond. This makes it quicker and easier to source volunteers for vital studies which could potentially lead to an effective vaccine against coronavirus being identified and made available to the UK public earlier.
