We run a range of open courses over the year for anyone to book onto.
For the majority of courses, no previous experience is required. Please see below for more information on courses we run.

First Responder Emergency Care Level 3 (FREC 3)
Ideal as an alternative to the First Person on Scene Intermediate (FPOSi) qualification, this forms part of a progressive suite of prehospital care qualifications that lead to the Diploma in Paramedic Practice. It will suit a range of roles in emergency care, such as: Event Medical Responder, Emergency Care Support Worker and anyone who works in a high risk workplace.
Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (FAW)
This three-day OFQUAL-regulated course is for higher risk workplaces such as factories and construction sites that require a more in-depth course. Certificates are valid for three years with a half-day annual refresher course strongly advised.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
This one-day course is ideal for workplace first aiders or anyone who requires a comprehensive one day course. Certificates are valid for three years with a half-day annual refresher course strongly advised.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a course which will teach you how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health problem as well as the skills to take care of your own well being.
These courses can be delivered online or face to face.
You do not need any prior knowledge to join us on a course. You will be provided with an MHFA manual, workbook and a line managers' resource book where required.
