“There was nothing that could be improved, it was a fantastic service. I was in a difficult and upsetting situation which the medics made as easy as possible.” – The words of just one of the many happy respondents who gave us feedback in our latest patient experience report.

More than 110 people responded to our January experience survey, with 98% either satisfied of very satisfied with the overall level of service they received from us.

Also, for the third consecutive month, the latest figures revealed that 100% of respondents felt they could trust us and that they were treated with privacy, dignity, and respect.

One person from north Bedfordshire said: “The staff provided the best care possible and went beyond the call of duty for my mum, please pass on my thanks to them.”

Whilst another patient from north Cambridgeshire said: “My experience was a very good one and I don’t think it could have been improved; I was very happy with the care shown to me.”

Other high scoring areas of the report included the level of care received by staff, with every respondent either satisfied or very satisfied. Similarly all found that the cleanliness of both the interior of the ambulance and equipment used was either acceptable or fairly acceptable.

It was also revealed that almost 94% of people found that the handling of their call was either very acceptable or acceptable.

Kevin Brown, Director of Service Delivery, said: “We strive to provide a consistently high level excellent patient care delivered with the highest degree of professionalism. The feedback from this recent survey is a testimony to our values and work ethic.”

He added: “My thanks to those who took the time to complete this survey, their feedback is vital to us further improving our service as we look forward into 2017 and beyond.”
