Elderly woman taken to hospital after choking in Bedfordshire

An elderly woman was taken to hospital after choking in Bedfordshire this morning.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at just before 9.30am today (10th August) to High Street, Langford, to a report of a woman in her 80s with breathing difficulties.
An RAF co-responder, rapid response vehicle, ambulance crew and East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched.
They treated the patient who was taken by land ambulance to Lister Hospital in a serious condition.
