How to become a volunteer

Become a volunteer Community First Responder within your community and help save lives

You can help your friends and neighbours by training to become a Community First Responder (CFR). We need more CFR’s in your neighbourhood to respond to patients who are seriously ill and who have a life threatening condition. The training you will receive and your willingness and skill can make all the difference to people who need help. You will provide valuable care and treatment whilst the ambulance crew is on the way and we all know that seconds really do count.....Find out more about becoming a community first responder.

Become a volunteer car driver

We are currently recruiting volunteer car drivers.   You can find out more on these pages about how this valuable group of volunteers supports our work in transporting patients to hospital appointments and how you can join them.   Find out more about the Ambulance Car Service
