Foundation Trust

Your service, your say!

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust is applying to become an NHS Foundation Trust. NHS Foundation Trusts give people a much greater say in their health services and how they develop.

The Trust serves a population of 5.8 million people in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. We pride ourselves on the quality of services we deliver to patients every day across the eastern region and have one of the highest patient satisfaction ratings in the NHS at around 97%.

By becoming a foundation trust we will be able to involve thousands of people in the way we run and develop services.  This is your opportunity to take part in this exciting stage in our development – please get involved!

You can sign up as a member of our trust today.  Membership is free and means that you can get involved in how your ambulance service is developed in the future.

As a member there are a number of ways that you can be involved, from receiving a regular newsletter, to helping out with surveys, attending events that we will be arranging around the region, becoming a volunteer, or putting yourself forward as a Governor on the members council where you will have the chance to truly represent your community, the level of involvement is entirely up to you. Members can also opt out of membership at any time whereupon details will be deleted and no further contact will be made.
