Who we are and what we do

Details of how the Trust fits into the wider NHS

Trust Board and Senior Management

We are led by a Trust Board, which is made up of a Chairperson, the Trust's Chief Executive, six executive directors and five non-executive directors. For more details on our board members, please go to Trust Board.

Structure

The Trust's Headquarters are based in Cambourne and we have three other primary sites: Bedford, Chelmsford and Norwich. The addresses can be found on the contact us page.

The Trust's emergency service is split into four areas with each area managed by a General Manager and Assistant General Manager. The four areas are the North West (Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire), South East (Essex), South West (Hertfordshire) and the North East (Norfolk and Suffolk).

There are 132 ambulance stations (including response posts) in these areas and each ambulance station is supported by Duty Operations Managers. Each region has two Clinical Operations Managers and the Trust also has four Clinical General Managers.
The Trust currently has Patient Transport Services contracts in Essex with offices in Colchester, Broomfield and Southend. There is also a courier service running out of Basildon.

The Trust also runs Out of Hours GP service contracts in the following areas: Norfolk, South East Essex, South West Essex and the northern part of Suffolk.
