The Secretary of State announced in December 2010 the introduction of the Clinical Quality Indicators for the ambulance service that will take effect from April 2011. This set of 11 indicators will replace the Category B, 19-minute response time target and are a move to measure the performance of the ambulance service on what matters most to patients – quality and patient outcomes. The current live indicators can be viewed on the Department of Health's website by clicking on Ambulance Quality Indicators.
Each month the latest national performance figures are published in the form of a dashboard. Click here to view the latest dashboard.
