Two injured in Stotfold road collision

A man and a woman have been hospitalised following a road traffic collision yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 26).
 
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to the High Street at the junction of Regents Street at 5.05pm. Two ambulance crews and a a senior officer from Letchworth station attended the scene.
 
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A man who was riding the motorcycle received a suspected hip fracture and an arm injury. A woman driving the car involved received minor injuries. Both were treated and stabilised at the scene by the ambulance crews before they were taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care."
