Courier Transport Service

Our Courier Transport Service (CTS) team delivers a high quality service to across the region transporting medical records, pathology samples, sterile equipment and clinical waste.  Their work is integral to the smooth running of healthcare in the area.

Developments within CTS have been brought about by changes in environmental legislation which impacts on the transportation of clinical waste and this has required further training for drivers in the transportation of hazardous waste.

The quality of this service has been recognised with the award of the ISO9001:2008 accreditation. The process required to attain this award will ensure that the service continues to meet the needs of its customers.

Our commitment to providing a reliable, secure and cost effective service has seen EEAST develop into a key provider of courier transport services to local hospitals  and  health centres.
